Navigate to Setup
Go to System
Click on Registration
This will display your registered options. If you find that the Offline Ticket Entry option is missing and you're interested in getting it, please reach out to our sales department at (866) 797-1264, option 1.
Test Offline Ticket Entry Before You Need It!

Testing from Your Normal, Live Counterpoint Database
Add or modify an item or customer record.
Wait at least 15 minutes for the system to update.
Exit the normal Counterpoint application.

To test the offline functionality, start with a different desktop icon:
Start Counterpoint in Offline mode.
Confirm that the new or changed item or customer record is available.
Log into Ticket Entry and enter a ticket. Ensure that your cash drawer pops open and a receipt prints.
Complete a sale using a credit card as payment. Did it process successfully?
Exit the Offline Counterpoint application.
Verify Updates in Your Normal, Live Counterpoint Database
After you've conducted your test, return to your regular setup:
Wait at least 15 minutes once more.
Log into regular Counterpoint.
Check for your offline ticket by running the Ticket Edit list for ticket numbers that start with ‘O’. Once verified, do remember to void the test tickets.
If you cannot see the test item, modifications, or the offline ticket in your normal Counterpoint, contact SI Support at (770) 343-8777, option 2.
