Have you tested your offline lately?
Offline Ticket Entry will allow you to continue to enter tickets if your server fails or your network goes down. Offline Ticket Entry is not designed to resolve internet connectivity issues.
Not sure if you have Offline Ticket Entry? Check your registration file by going to Setup\ System\ Registration to view registered options. If you don’t have Offline Ticket Entry option and would like a quote, please contact our sales department at (866) 797-1264, option 1.
Test Offline Ticket Entry before you need it!
From your normal, live Counterpoint Database:
1. Add or modify an item or customer record

5. Exit Offline Counterpoint
From your normal, live Counterpoint Database:
1. Wait at least 15 minutes
2. Log into regular Counterpoint
3. Check for your offline ticket by running the Ticket Edit list for ticket numbers that start with ‘O’. (Once verified, void the test tickets)
If you don’t see the test item or updates to the test item or customer, or the offline ticket in normal Counterpoint, call SI Support at (770) 343-8777, option 2.
REMEMBER – Any issues with Offline need to be addressed while the network is functional – if you find that you need it because of network issues and it isn’t working, we won’t be able to fix the problem!
