Sales Analysis by Group Report, Part Two

Take a deeper look into your sales performance with the Sales Analysis by Group report. Designed for flexibility and insight, this report allows you to easily build custom views comparing sales across customers, vendors, items, and sales reps.

It’s easy to build your report:

1. Set the foundation –

Decide what you want to analyze and for what timeframe.

· Pick your layout: Traditional for 5 columns, or Wide (Landscape) for 7, 10, or 11 columns.

· Choose how to group your data from the dropdown menu, selecting a field from the Customer, Item, Store, Ticket History or User tables.

· Add extras like a Pie Chart or include groups with no history with a single click.

· Highlight your Top or Bottom performers or review all records – it’s your call.

· Decide the Order your results display in, by selecting a field from a dropdown menu.

· Select the reporting period for the report and up to two additional comparison reporting periods, such as Last Quarter this year compared to Last Quarter of the previous year.

· Run the report for One Store or All Stores – it’s that flexible.

2. Pick the details that you want to view on the report

· Choose up to 11 (depending on the report type selected) columns of data to include in the report.

· Easily round dollar amounts and quantity values with a quick checkbox.

3. Fine-tune with filters- Need to drill down further? Apply filters to limit which tickets, items and/or customers appear in the report.

· Click on the Ticket History, Ticket History Line and/or Customer tabs to create filters if needed.

· Filters can be customized to use other fields not currently shown.

That’s it – hit preview, and your report is ready to go!

Do you need to run this report often? Save time by storing your report settings. Just click Options and select Save parameters. Give your report a name and click save. The next time that you want to run it, go to Options > Load parameters, and choose your saved report. Make any changes that you’d like and you are ready to print.
